What is ICSI?

ICSI is a micromanipulation technique specifically developed to achieve fertilization when conventional methods may not suffice.

The Procedure: In this procedure, a single sperm is injected directly into the cytoplasm of an egg. Because of this precision, very few sperms are required for the ICSI procedure.

When is ICSI Recommended?

This technique is primarily done for:

Couples with severe male factor infertility.
Cases where there has been a previous fertilisation failure using conventional IVF.
